Love Island viewers were quick to point out the moment when Ron Hall missed his chance to couple up with bombshell Samie Elishi and couldn't hide his anger about it.

Wednesday's episode began with a dramatic recoupling which ended with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown having to leave the villa after her former partner Tom Clare chose to couple up with Ellie Spence rather than her after he was left as the final guy to pick.

However, this was not the only drama at the recoupling, as viewers were quick to point out Ron's reaction when he didn't get the chance to pick Samie.

Instead, Kai Fagan – who was coupled up with Tanyel – went before him and started his speech, before choosing to couple up with Samie.

He said: "I've decided to couple up with this girl because she's absolutely beautiful, from the conversations I've had with her it seems that she has really nice characteristics, she's got a brilliant personality.

"I'd like to explore that connection further and see if there is a genuine connection there."

But throughout his speech, Ron was seen nervously looking down at the floor and fans thought he appeared irritated.

As Kai announced Samie was the one he wanted to couple up with, fans thought that Ron looking "fuming".

Fans were quick to pick up on this and took to social media to discuss his reaction.

One person wrote: "Look at Ron's face, he is fuming right now", as another said: "Calm down Ron!"

"I’m sorry but watching both of Ron’s options being picked has been the highlight of my year #loveisland" a third person said.

Some people also referred to Tuesday's episode, where Ron told Lana that she was his "number one priority" but that he still wanted to get to know Samie better.

"She deserved 1000% better than that! Let's get Tom out next then Ron! He had more of a reaction to Kai picking Samie than Aaron picking Lana who is apparently his priority!" said one person.

Another said: "Honestly after seeing Ron’s reaction to Kai picking Samie, I think we all know who he wants to chat to more."

Ron went on to couple up with Tanyel, after Lana had been picked by Aaron Waters.

Kai later told Ellie that he thinks there's a hidden spark between the two friends.

Kai said: "I genuinely think they have a connection, I've said it before."

Ellie replied: "I've never felt some much hostile from someone from being with Ron, than Tanyel."

Kai then whispered: "I think they'll actually get together, I think there could be a thing."
