Love Island fans have claimed elements of the show is "scripted" after Will Young shared the news of Ellie Spence and Tom Clare's secret kiss.
Tensions started to rise during Monday night's episode (January 30) when farmer Will told Jessie Wynter, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad that Ellie shared a secret smooch with Tom.
As Tom previously declared to Olivia Hawkins that he wanted to focus on her, the islanders were left evidently stunned by the news.

But although Will told his co-stars not to say anything about his bombshell information, Tanya headed over to Zara Lackenby-Brown and shared the gossip with her.
As Tanya spilled the beans, Zara initially insisted that she is able to keep secrets but she quickly changed her tune when hearing the juicy details.
Marching over to Olivia, Zara was determined to tell her the news as Tanya begged her not to.
But as the explosive scene unfolded, fans were left unconvinced that the conversations were genuine and thought things could have been scripted to create drama.
Taking to Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers shared their thoughts.
One person said: "Will telling the others about Ellie and Tom’s kiss is the most scripted thing I’ve ever seen."
Another echoed: "No one can tell me this show’s not scripted. Tanya tells Zara fully knowing how direct she is and not the type to hold it in so that when it all kicks off they’ll blame her for bringing drama again?"
A third penned: "#LoveIsland is so scripted man. So coincidentally Will goes on a date after telling them lot about Ellie & Tom and Tanya runs to tell Zara?"
While a fourth agreed and wrote: "The last bit was so scripted, I can’t lie I love it!"
This isn't the first time the ITV show has been accused of being scripted by fans.
During the first winter version of Love Island which aired in 2020, the show creators were forced to speak out and protection the programme's reputation.
A spokesperson for the show previously told Metro: "As anyone who watches the show regularly would know, Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements that are reflective of what’s happening in the villa, and is a fair and accurate representation of villa life.
"It is absolutely untrue to suggest that Love Island is fake, staged or scripted."
