Love Island spoilers: Niall and Georgia's kiss leaves Hayley and Laura fuming as Alex has seriously awkward date with Rosie

After finding out the pair kissed during their loved-up date, Laura Anderson and Hayley Hughes hit the roof.

Niall appears to be completely bowled over by Georgia after Kendall Rae-Knight was stolen away by “secret millionaire” Adam Collard.

As they talk across the table tonight, he tells her they’re going to kiss and Georgia beams at the camera after they lock lips.

Later as he boasts to the lads about his exploits, Wes Nelson goes off to tell the others in the group about what went on.

Wes tells his co-stars: “They had a kiss on the first date you know,” which leaves Laura open mouthed.

Realising he’s put his foot in it, Wes says: “Oh s**t, you didn’t know that. Oh god I’ve dropped a bomb!”

After his words have sunk in, Laura shouts: “Are you fucking serious?”

But Hayley has the last word, booming: “Shut the f***ing front door! He hasn’t mentioned that

“See you can’t trust anyone in this game!”

While the daggers are out for Georgia and Niall however, unlucky-in-love Alex finally gets his chance at love.

Sitting a short distance away from Niall and Georgia, he tries his best to sweet talk newbie Rosie.

But it seems he struggles to get going and ends up discussing the joys of being Welsh with her, along with having ambition.

However as the night goes on, it seems that their conversation, although boring to some, has thrilled them both.

At the end of the date, Rosie tells Alex she’s looking for a man to play golf with – leaving him very impressed.

She adds: “You’re a lovely guy and I’ve got high hopes for you,” to which Alex replies: “I’ve got high hopes for you as well.”

After being paired off with Samira at the start of the show then being publicly pied by the girls during a game of kiss of tell, his date with Rosie is just what Dr Alex ordered.

He tells his male co-stars afterwards: “She’s a nice girl, it was a really good date, we had a really nice setting, she’s Welsh, she’s a clever girl so we had a lot in common…

“Chatting to her, I think her type isn’t always the right decision…

Let’s see, it was a good first date.”

Later in the Beach Hut, Alex admits: “I’m feeling much more positive it was great to go on a date and have a nice time with someone and just have a chat.

“It was cool to have a connection.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
