Love IslandhunkDavide Sanclimentihas been the cause of much drama between two of the show’s girls in recent days.
Newcomer Nathalia Campos to ruffled his current partner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s feathers in a battle to claimDavide's affections.
Thepair were at odds after Thursday’s episode, when Nathalia breezed into the villa and began to turn Davide’s head with her charms, but that escalated further as Ekin-Su confronted the Brazilian bombshell over her attitude towards her.
While the drama was happening, it seems viewers’ attention was elsewhere as they noticed a strange mark on Davide’s face.
One viewer tweeted: “Is it just me who’s seeing a bruise on Davide’s cheek? Am I imagining things?”
Another added: “does anyone else see a bruise on davide's right cheek? #LoveIsland”
A third questioned what they had seen: “Does Davide have a bruise on his face!?”
The bruise looks as though it could be sunburn from sitting in the Mallorcan heat in the middle of summer.
Meanwhile,Davide has been keeping fans amused with his lines in the villa, with many going viral on TikTok.
After entering as a bombshell during the second episode, Davide quickly caught the eye of the majority of the girls in the villa but it was Ekin-Su who eventually captured his attention.
Ekin-Su, who entered as a bombshell with Afia Tonkmor, and Davide appeared to be a good match up until Jay Younger entered as a bombshell.
Ekin-Su fancied Jay, 28, straight away and snuck off to the terrace on two occasions to kiss him without Davide knowing – but once he found out, he was understandably unhappy.
He and Ekin-Su had a blazing row in the garden which saw Davide deliver his first iconic one liner of the series: "You are a liar, an actress. Go the f*** out!"
Davide then proceeded to tell Ekin-Su she deserves "an Oscar" for her performance. The 27 year old's outburst had fans everywhere in stitches, and the phrase has become a large part of Love Island 2022.
So much so, that when Tasha Ghouri, 23, recently called one of her fellow Islanders a liar, Davide hilariously shouted across the garden: "That is my line, Natasha!"
Many took to social media to speak about how funny his comment was, with one person saying he deserves "his own comedy show right now" while others simply branded it "iconic".
