LOVE Island star Jacques O'Neill has fuelled romance rumours with a former ITV2 dating show star as they met for a sweaty workout.

The professional rugby player was seen cosying up with bombshell Mary Bedford – who rose to fame on the competition last year.

Love Island star Jacques, 23, who quit the villa this summer over mental health concerns, was seen placing an arm around Mary, 24.

Looking sweaty, the rugby star donned tiny grey shorts and a matching grey top as he showed off his bulging muscles.

He smiled wide next to Mary, who was seen wearing grey leggings and a tight sports bralette as she went make-up free for the session.

They were joined by two of their friends in the snap – posted to Jacques' Instagram stories on Monday evening.

It comes after Love Island star Danica Taylor revealed how Jacques had secretly flirted with her behind Paige Thorne's back.

Jacques, who had been pursuing things with Paige, 24, at the time, was said to have been showing interest in Danica, 22.

Sitting down for a candid interview at home, the bombshell admitted they was a flirtation that viewers never got to see at home.

Danica said: “With Jacques, he was flirty with me and he was giving me signals that he was quite into me.

“He always said it was either 100 or nothing and he kind of then made out that he never gave me that kind of inkling that he was into me in that way.”

Talking to On Demand Entertainment, Danica admitted they’d had a “flirty” chat on the bean bags.

She continued: “There definitely was a bit of a vibe with Jacques. I can’t remember if it was aired or not but Jacques and I had about an hour-long conversation on the bean bags.

“It was very flirtatious. We were getting along. Things like that maybe didn’t get shown because it may not have fit the journey I was about to go on.There was a flirtatious conversation though.”

Despite having a few rocky romances on the hit show, Danica now seems happier than ever with Jamie Allen.

The couple met on this year’s series of the reality dating show towards the end before leaving the villa together.

When footballer Jamie entered it was a different story for Danica, who left the villa with her beau and the pair remain loved-up.

It seems things have now heated up between the dancer and 27-year-old Jamie, with the pair admitting to having a “connection” and even saying they’ll “have cute kids.”
