Love Trap star Suzel Mackintosh has opened up about the horrors of the moment a dog attacked her face.
The model instantly charmed leading man David Birtwistle, whose job is to find a potential girlfriend from a group of women, while rooting out which of them are secretly in a relationship already.
But as Suzel headed out for a private mini-date with David, she told the cameras about her harrowing story of being mauled by a dog.
Sharing a photo of her severely scarred face, she explained that she feared her modelling career was over in the aftermath of the attack.
The Australian blonde beauty had moved to the UK to pursue a career as a model and was camping with friends when the incident occurred.
The dog, who belonged to a pal, launched into an unprovoked attack on her when she jumped on her face.
At the time of the incident, Suzel hit the headlines, saying she “looked like the Joker” after the awful attack.

She said: ”It was one of the toughest things, but I’m still doing what I love.”
However, on the show David became suspicious of her intentions and began to suspect that she was a “love trap”.
Choosing her as one of his three suspects, she joined two other girls – Nelly and Kelly – in the deliberation room, which comes complete with trap doors which he pulls to dump the girls and send them through the floor.

David confessed that although they had clicked immediately, he feared that their chemistry and her heavy flirting was coming off so strong because she was trying hard to convince him to keep her in the show.
"I was a little bit shocked just because I thought we were bouncing off each other and we had a good energy," she told him.
Suzel added that she had hoped that the pair could still get to know each other.
Luckily for her, David felt the same and kept her in to survive another episode.
