Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has thrilled fans with a snap that saw her pose alongside her on-screen family ahead of her return to the ITV soap.

Lucy Fallon is set to reprise her role as Bethany Platt after a three year absence, during which time the actress gave birth to her first child, Sonny, with footballer partner Ryan Ledson.

Bethany left Coronation Street in 2020 after accepting a job in London, but will soon return to Manchester where she will reunite with her family.

Away from the cobbles, Lucy has already met up with her on-screen family, and delighted fans with a picture of their reunion.

The stars gathered to celebrate Tina O’Brien’s 40th birthday at a glamourous party, and couldn’t resist posing for the family portrait.

In the picture, Lucy posed between on-screen mum Tina, who plays Sarah Platt, and David Platt actor Jack P Shepherd.

Also pictured were Paddy Bever and Julia Goulding, who play Max Turner and Shona Platt.

The five looked like a close-knit bunch as they smiled for the camera, clearly having a ball.

Fans were thrilled by the photo, which was posted to Instagram, and instantly took to the comments to share their thoughts.

‘The Platt family reunited! Bethany, be careful – Steven may kill you,’ one fan wrote with added laughing faces, in reference to the fact that uncle Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is the street’s current serial killer.

‘Love the Platts,’ another added, while a third wrote, ‘The Platt family portrait.’

Lucy previously shared another picture from the event, which saw her reunite with Colson Smith, who plays Bethany’s ex-boyfriend Craig Tinker.

With Craig having just been dumped by fiancé Faye Windass (Ellie Leach), could a reunion be on the cards for Craig and Bethany?
