Married At First Sight UK is airing on E4 and the cracks are definitely starting to show for some of the couples. Josh and Amy have moved into their own house in London, and Amy introduced Josh to some of her closest friends. Josh spoke exclusively to about how he reached breaking point.

Where are Josh and Amy from MAFS?

The couples have reached a pivotal moment in the experiment as they meet each other’s friends and families.

Amy and Josh moved into their own place in London and Amy hosted a Mexican night so Josh could meet her friends.

During preparation for the night, Josh said he had reached the end of his tether when Amy flipped out in the kitchen.

Speaking to, he said: “That moment was one of the ones where I had had enough and I just wanted to throw in the towel.

“There were breaking points throughout the process, the dinner party was one of them where I thought I have had enough, I just want to leave now.”

During the final dinner party, Josh and Morag ended up falling out over an accusation Morag had made.

She suggested Josh had tried to contact her ahead of the show and she wanted to warn Amy of his actions.

Josh denied the claims and said it was a make or break moment for him, adding: “The reason being from the beginning up until what you have seen so far, I was introduced as some sort of lad.”

However, he did point out the many positives in his relationship and the pair are starting to understand each other’s quirks.

He added: “Our best moments were really good and to be honest they were at least 80 per cent of the process.

“Obviously some of the parts you guys are seeing are our worst moments as well.

“The benefit of us falling out early on in the process was we crossed each other’s boundaries early on

“So we knew where to cross and where not to cross. For us, all the good moments and the bad moments, you can take the positives out of both.

“Our worst moments made me feel like I wanted to leave at times, but I just needed to remember you are not supposed to run away from things.”

In the upcoming episodes, the couples must swap partners and debrief on their relationships.

Amy will spend some time with Luke, whereas Josh will be sitting down for a chat with Tayah.

Fans will have to wait until the series ends before they find out if the pair managed to work things out.

Amy’s friends had raised concerns about Josh’s intentions as he admitted he was not “in love” with her at that moment.

However, he did say there was potential for those feelings to develop over time, and Amy felt the same way.

Amy has since dropped a clue on Instagram that suggests the pair may still be together.

She shared a photo of herself with her husband and one fan said: “Great couple, hope you two make it!”

Amy responded by using a heart emoji, which has led viewers to believe they managed to settle their differences.

Josh also shared a photo of himself and Amy enjoying some time together with the message: “Another intense Ep, Take us back to cruising around in the heat on this golf buggy!”

The pair have had plenty of positive moments together, so there is still hope for them yet.

Married At First Sight UK airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
