Who is in the cast of Hit-Monkey?

Hit-Monkey – Fred Tatasciore

Hit-Monkey is a Japanese macaque who has been wronged and goes after Tokyo’s criminal underworld.

While Hit-Monkey doesn’t have a lot of dialogue bar some shrieks and grunts, he is voiced by actor Fred Tatasciore.

Some of his previous work includes Family Guy, American Dad and the Trollhunter series.

He voiced several other Marvel characters in the animated series, such as Commissioner Gordon and the Hulk.

Bryce – Jason Sudeikis

Bryce is the ghost of the American assassin who was ultimately responsible for the death of Hit-Monkey’s family.

Nevertheless, he returns to mentor the animal as he begins his quest for revenge.

He is voiced by comedian and actor Jason Sudeikis who is best known for starring in the soccer coach sitcom Ted Lasso on Apple TV+.

Sudeikis isn’t a stranger to doing voiceovers though as he did the voice of Red for The Angry Birds Movie franchise.

Shinji Yokohama – George Takei

Shinji Yokohama is one of the good politicians in Hit-Monkey, despite almost being assassinated by the macaque.

He is portrayed by actor George Takei who was Sulu in the original Star Trek series, as well as on several Star Trek spin-offs.

Takei did the voice of the First Ancestor in Mulan and was himself in a handful of episodes of Futurama.

Takei took part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2008 when he came in third place.

Akiko – Olivia Munn

Akiko is Yokohama’s niece who has strong political views and a possible dark side.

Actress Olivia Munn is the voice behind Akiko and is probably best recognised for her role as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse.

She was also Tracey Hughes in comedy film Office Christmas Party, alongside Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston.

In terms of voice acting, she was Koko in The Lego Ninjago Movie.

As of yet, there has been no news on whether Hit-Monkey will return for a second season.
