Masked Dancer fans say they ‘have proof’ of Odd Socks’ identity as band member

    The Masked Dancer UK fans have "worked out" the identity of Odd Socks, with one viewer even claiming to "have proof" that they're from a famous band.

    After performing a dance to the Friends theme tune during the semi final, viewers at home were in awe of Odd Socks' flexibility and stamina, with many thinking a girl band member could be behind the mask.

    Viewers took to Twitter after the performance, with most believing the identity of Oddsocks being as Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud.

    "Just putting here so I have proof, Odd Socks is Kimberley Walsh #MaskedDancerUK," penned one viewer- on Saturday night (October 15) who was very sure of themselves.

    Replying to the above tweet someone penned: "Could be a great shout that."

    Other people agreed too, with one writing: "I think odd socks is Kimberly Walsh #MaskedDancerUK."

    "Odd socks is 100% Kimberley Walsh. I’m sure of it #MaskedDancerUK," added a fourth.

    Kimberley Walsh has been a firm favourite guess of viewers for a few weeks now, with one person taking to Twitter earlier this month to say: "#MaskedDancerUK Kimberley Walsh is definitely Odd Socks."

    And another penned: "Odd socks is definitely Kimberley Walsh. I’ve said it from week one, I’m sure."

    Although Kimberley Walsh seems like a solid guess, elsewhere other viewers had different ideas as to who could be behind Odd Socks' identity.

    One person penned: "Is odd socks Helen Baxendale? The ‘Friends’ theme today and the costume would help ‘Cold Feet’."

    Another added: "I can see odd socks being Amanda Holden #MaskedDancerUk."

    While a third said: "Could #OddSocks be Michaela Strachan?"

    The judges however had different guesses, with Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison and Heart Breakfast's Amanda Holden being among some of them.

    Previously fans thought that Odd Socks might be Maisie Smith who rose to fame as Tiffany Butcher-Baker on EastEnders.

    The Masked Dancer final will air on Saturday, October 22 on ITV.
