Masked Dancer viewers fume over lack of subtitles and beg ITV bosses to fix it

Masked Dancer UK fans were fuming over the lack of subtitles on the grand finale of the much-loved TV show.

Eagle-eyed viewers who most likely rely on the subtitles of TV shows took to Twitter to notify ITV and fume over the fact that there are no subtitles on the channel.

Many took to social media and demanded that ITV "fix it" immediately due to the show being inaccessible for those with disabilities and hearing difficulty.

"#MaskeddancerUK How come the subtitles are unavailable? please fix @ITV," penned one unimpressed viewer.

A second person asked: "Is anyone else watching on Sky and not getting any subtitles? #maskeddanceruk."

"NO SUBTITLES ON GRAND FINAL?!?!?" fumed a third.

While a fourth said: "@MaskedSingerUK no subtitles on the final @ITV sort it please. #subtitles #accessibility #Deaf."

And a fifth added: "It would be better if you had the subtitles on for us hard of hearing!!!"

30 minutes into the programme however, one viewer tweeted ITV and thanked them for sorting it out – meaning that everyone was able to enjoy the rest of the grand finale.

"Thanks @ITV subtitles are now on woohoo," penned the viewer.

Daily Star have reached out to ITV for comment about the lack of subtitles for the first half an hour of the show.

This comes as Pearly King, Scissors and Onomatopoeia battle it out in the grand finale of the beloved dancing and guessing competition.

Last week there was a double axing that saw a popular girlband member and a gold-medal-winning Olympian unmasked before being sent home.

Kimberley Walsh was behind the identity of Odd Socks, while Denise Lewis was behind Sea Slug's elaborate mask.
