Former The One Show host Matt Baker has had his say on the rumours suggesting he could be heading into the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here jungle later this month.
The 45 year old has been linked with the programme on several occasions, but this year, as the start of the show edges closer, Matt is still on the bookies list of people who could be heading Down Under.
When speaking exclusively to OK! Matt spoke about the new series, which kicks off on Sunday, 19 November, but he wouldn’t be drawn on the rumours.
Matt told us that he is “looking forward to finding out who comes out in the line-up.”
The line-up for the new series is expected to be confirmed in the coming days, ahead of the live launch next weekend, and a number of famous faces are still being linked with the challenge.
Jamie Lynn Spears, the younger sister of global superstar Britney Spears, is the latest name to be linked with the ITV show.
The 32 year old will have some huge stories to tell if she does end up on the programme next week.
An insider shared withThe Mirror: "Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book.
“It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not."
Other names set to be announced as this year’s campmates include This Morning host Josie Gibson, First Dates’ Fred Sirieix, jockey Frankie Dettori and Masterchef star Grace Dent.
Since leaving The One Show in 2020, he has remained on our screens, and of course, is a big part of Children In Need.
For many years, Matt was the face of the famous Rickshaw Challenge for Children In Need, but this year he is part of The Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need.
When speaking to OK! Matt explained that his perspective on the charity changed when he became a dad.
He told us: “My perspective of Children In Need changed when I became a parent, you think to yourself what would you do if you needed the help of the experts.”
He then added: “Sometimes love just isn’t enough.”
