He told The Sun:” Though I thought ‘this is a bad moment’, it didn’t hurt nearly as much as I expected, being smacked in the face.
“The really surprising thing was that it didn’t really hurt when he hit me in the face because your adrenaline is so high, you don’t feel it.”
Speaking about another challenge they had to take part in called Murder Ball, Matt confessed they all lost their inhibitions.
He added: “It was a far more enjoyable experience than I expected. I’ve never done that before, never done anything like it.”

Admitting they all looked quite scrappy taking part, Matt revealed it only took one punch to get him into the show.
He continued: “I remember the first time Jermaine hit me smack in the face and I thought, ‘I can do this. I want to get a shot in now as well.”
The former Health Secretary admitted he wanted to take part in the series to allow people to see the “real” him, other than how he was portrayed when in parliament.
However, it isn’t the first time people would have seen Matt in a reality show as the 44-year-old appeared on last year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Matt caused controversy when he entered the Australian jungle, with both viewers and the campmates within the show.
Being voted to do back-to-back Bushtucker trails, Matt got stuck into the challenge thrown his way and managed to gain popularity with fans.
In the end, he managed to reach the final and ended in third place, with the crown going to former England Lioness Jill Scott.
Will he have the same success in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins?
