Mrs Brown’s Boys returns to BBC One with new series
The return of Mrs Brown’s Boys sparked outrage among viewers on Friday night, with many taking to Twitter to issue the same complaint.
The BBC comedy has made its official comeback with four brand-new episodes after its 10-year hiatus.
The first instalment saw Agnes Brown (played by Brenda O’Carroll) feeling down in the dumps when the house was a mess and she couldn’t get any sleep.
It is the first series to be made since 2013, as only Christmas specials have aired ever since.
However, just minutes into the programme, some fans claimed to “switch off” with many picking faults with the quality of the lighting and camera angles.
