My Mum, Your Dad is ITV's newest dating show. Dubbed as an adult version of Love Island, the official synopsis reads: "A group of single parents move into a house together as their college-aged kids try to pull strings from behind the scenes and give their parents a second chance at love."

Last night, the show's host Davina McCall – who recently teased a celebrity version – presented the final episode after a consecutive two week run.

However, despite the series being a hit with fans, viewers were left with two major queries.

The last episode showed each kids' verdict on their parents' new relationships.

They either approved of the romances or didn't, and stated whether or not the couples will remain together after the show.

But, viewers found it frustrating that they were not offered a 'where are they now?' segment to update them on the progress of each relationship.

This would have made sense, as the show was pre recorded earlier this year, meaning a good amount of time has passed since the couples first met.

So, as of now, we don't actually know how some of the pairings are getting on in real life.

"When do we find out what happened after they left the retreat? I'm too emotionally invested now!" one fan penned, as a second called for a reunion episode.

"I think we need a reunion episode to find out what they’re all up to post-retreat!" they typed.

The second issue viewers found was with the show's format. Granted, a season two has yet to be announced, but fans made a good point about the current structure should a second series be given the green light.

One key element of My Mum, Your Dad, was the kids' acting as relationship experts behind the scenes without their parents knowing.

Rightly so, viewers questioned how this would work given the show's biggest twist is now out in the open.

Again, fans took to Twitter to deliberate this problem. They suggested that the only way to keep it legitimate is if the parents taking part in season two have never watched to show.

“I have loved this show so much! And hope for a second series. But how could they make another one when the parents would know that the kids were watching? Unless they get parents that never watched this series," one person said, as a second agreed, typing: "I was thinking, Davina can’t do another series of this because the parents will know the secret trick of the kids."
