Naga Munchetty tells Labour MP 'people need help now'

Angela Rayner joined Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty on BBC Breakfast to discuss the Labour Party’s reaction to Kwasi Kwarteng’s mini-budget. However, as the opposition party’s deputy leader explained why Labour weren’t pleased with the new fiscal policies, BBC viewers took to social media to blast the presenters for “attacking” Rayner.

@Neilwhi44908302 tweeted: “Charlie Stayt & Naga Munchetty have been bought & paid but they’ll benefit from mini budget£££.Tories are in control of BBC now. Very worrying!” (sic)

@fingers1975 agreed: “Well Naga & Charlie have gone full Tory this morning, either they’ve been on a impartiality education camp & gone too far or just given up hiding well done to the fantastic @AngelaRayner for not loosing her rag.  #BBCBreakfast #Naga #Charlie.” (sic)

@SaltyHQ added: “#BBCBreakfast invite @AngelaRayner on only to be talked at and talked over by #charliestayt and @TVNaga01.

“Funny how they will both be benefitting to the tune of Thousands of pounds thanks to Kwasi’s budget for the few rather than the many!!”
