There’s trouble in store for Naomi (Karene Peter), a new Emmerdale teaser video has shown, as she is accused of attacking her dad, Charles (Kevin Mathurin).

Charles only recently found out that Naomi existed, and things have been tense between them ever since.

In the video, Naomi is being questioned by the police following an attack on Charles which has left him with a severe head injury.

She insists that she is innocent, but the police aren’t so sure. They speculate that her attempt to stop him from ‘hassling’ her got heated and ended with her injuring him.

They add that her running away from Harriet doesn’t make her look any less guilty, but she tells them that it was because she could tell she was being ‘stitched up’.

When the police point out that she hasn’t even asked how he is, they inform her that he is in a medically induced coma, suffering from a subarachnoid haemorrhage.

They warn Naomi that if things don’t go well for charge, she could be facing far more than an assault charge.

Will Naomi go down for murder?
