Yashvi (played by Olivia Junkeer) has finally started to feel comfortable in her relationship with Ned (Ben Hall) on Neighbours, as well as continuing her training to become a police officer. It’s fair to say the young couple have faced great adversity in their relationship, with unhinged characters and parents trying to drive a wedge between them. Recent scenes on the Channel 5 soap have hinted at the next hurdle they will have to face after the wannabe artist quit his job at Lassiter’s Hotel. However, as they begin to feel the strains on their romance once more, will the young Rebecchi find herself seeking comfort in the arms of another?

As the Ramsay Street resident continues to build a life for herself, Ned has begun to think about what he wants out of life.

Having tried and failed to build up an artistry business in the past, the youngster believes now is the time to try and achieve his goals.

With no job, this has left him financially vulnerable, a quality Yashvi’s father Shane Rebecchi (Nicholas Coghlan) greatly disapproves of.

It’s not the position his daughter’s boyfriend wants to be either, but the latter wants to be able to put his full effort into giving his business a shot.

His girlfriend has been very supportive of his decisions, but if her boyfriend fails to secure work, will she begin to give up on him and find herself gravitating towards one of her new colleagues?

  • Neighbours spoilers: Family torn apart as ‘dead’ character returns?

It was announced earlier this month, a newcomer will arrive in Erinsborough as an extended member of the Canning clan.

Following the death of Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) and the reintroduction of Naomi Canning (Morgana O’Reilly), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann) will welcome another member of her family into her home.

Levi Canning (Richie Morris) will certainly make an impact when his first scenes air later this month in Australia.

Shrouded in secrecy, viewers will be left with more questions than answers as to who he is and how he fits into the Canning family tree.

The newcomer will quickly secure himself a job on the police force, meaning he will be working alongside Yashvi.

With her boyfriend struggling to make ends meet, the young police officer in training could find herself confiding in Levi more as they strike up a friendship.

However, as one thing leads to another, will his charm and good looks be too tempting for his colleague to resist and ultimately beginning an affair?

Given he is a man with a stable job and is able to support her as well as himself, will Shane’s daughter split from her boyfriend as she cheats on him?

“He’s very interesting, and he’s got a lot of secrets. A lot of secrets that you guys will find out soon enough.”

It was only last year Yashvi and Ned were almost torn apart forever when sinister stalker Scarlett Brady (Christie Whelan Browne) tried to destroy the pair.

Having met the police officer in training’s boyfriend at the airport on her wedding day, the creepy character made her way to Ramsay Street to pursue her new target.

Wanting the artist all to herself, the unhinged Erinsborough resident created a whole array of fake scenarios to make sure Ned came to her rescue.

On the day she wanted to marry him, however, her true colours shone through as she chased him and his girlfriend around the maze with a knife.

Having gone through this ordeal and now out the other end, will Levi’s arrival be the straw to break the camel’s back?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5.
