THE Libertines frontman Pete Doherty will document his "era defining" relationship with Kate Moss in his new book.
Last year, The Sun revealed how the former bad boy, 43, has transformed himself and found long-term love away from the limelight.
Gone is the gaunt look of the old Pete, who was repeatedly arrested for drug offences, pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine and heroin and spent time in jail and rehab for his addictions.
Now, Pete looks far healthier and pals say he's happier than he's ever been now in his stable romance with musician Katia De Vidas.
Yet his darker days will now be revisited in new tome, A Likely Lad.
The book is due out in May and the blurb depicts how it “reflects on his era-defining relationship” with Kate.

A source also told Mirror Online: “Kate has really turned her life around since those days. She’s moved on.
“But fans will be fascinated to find out what really happened between her and Pete.”
Meanwhile, Babyshambles star Pete has said: “It’s definitely a white-knuckle read.”
Pete met the supermodel at her 31st birthday bash in January 2005, and soon afterwards declared that he had "really found love."

In September that year, photos and footage of Kate Moss preparing cocaine emerged, leading to her being dropped by fashion houses, Burberry and H&M.
During a brief split, Pete scrawled "I love Kate 4 eva" on the windscreen of his Jaguar after leaving court on yet another drug-related offence. They reunited, attended rehab together, rowed in public, got engaged and finally split in July 2007, all very much in public view.
At one point, Pete called her a "nasty old rag" in an interview and said their relationship was like "the Vietnam war."
It was during one of their splits and despite what he said, he added: "I love her with all my heart. I like the way she walks and talks. I love her bones. I love her brains."

There was even a portrait of Kate drawn in Pete's blood that sold for £5,000 in 2020.
Kate, 48, went onto marry and divorce Jamie Hince, guitarist with The Kills, and is now dating German aristocrat and photographer, Count Nikolai von Bismarck.
