Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) is set to be humiliated by older brother Phil (Steve McFadden) in upcoming EastEnders episodes.

It all starts when Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) asks Sam if she could hire Peggy’s for her charity fundraising event.

After being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour last year, Lola is determined to raise as much money as possible for brain tumour research charities in order to help others in her position.

However, she is stunned when Sam refuses, and ends up lashing out.

It isn’t long before Phil gets involved, promising Lola that she can have Peggy’s for free if she needs.

Phil naturally sees Lola as family, with her being the mother of his granddaughter, Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown), and therefore believes that she is entitled to Mitchell family favours.

Sam is left feeling foolish after being so openly undermined by her brother, while Lola is touched by his generosity.

Things have been tense between the siblings for quite a while, after Sam actively assisted gangster Jonah Tyler (Mark Mooney) in his attempt to bring down the Mitchell empire.

It only got worse for Sam when her Portugal fling was revealed to be Phil’s staunch rival Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

Will they ever properly make up, or will the rivalry between them continue until the bitter end?
