Piers Morgan threatens to have Andi Peters fired after being ‘fat shamed’ on GMB

Piers Morgan was not happy on Good Morning Britain today after accusing Andi Peters of "fat shaming" him on the show.

As a result the Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, threatened to have Andi fired.

Piers returned to the ITV programme today after taking time off during the February half term – and he didn't seem like he was in the best mood and complained that none of his co-stars had bought him 'welcome back' gifts.

So when Andi appeared in the studio with a stall full of pies to promote the ITV competition, Piers was not impressed and lashed out after his co-star asked who "ate all the pies".

"I just think it was completely unacceptable," fuming Piers announced as the pair proceeded to have an incredibly awkward exchange.

As Andi left through the studio door, he peaked back out and said: "You could say it was 'bants'."

"You could say it was just 'fired'," Piers retorted.

Andi returned to the store and Piers took aim at his co-stars own physique.

"If I was going to do that fat thing I wouldn't wear such a tight top," Piers retorted.

But Andi hit back: " Google Andi Peters Men's Health."

Piers responded: "Mate, no one Googles Andi Peters let alone Andi Peters Men's Health."

Susanna Reid was forced to intervene, demanding: "Calm down!"

Things continued to be tense when Andi returned later on to promote the competition again.

Sitting on the desk, he began to chat to Susanna as he revealed that it was Pie Week.

However Piers interrupted, remarking irritably: "Can we get on with it, please?"

"Oh, ok, we'd better get on with it then," Andi replied.
