POINTLESS have announced two EastEnders stars will appear on the celebrity special of the gameshow.

The episode will feature some familiar faces from the popular BBC soap opera.

Fans will recognise Martin Fowler, played by the actor – James Bye on the gameshow and his pal Davood Ghadami – who played Kush Kazemi up until 2021, when his character got killed off.

James posted the exciting news that they will be starring in the celebrity special, on his Instagram, alongside a snap of the pair on the set of the popular quiz show.

The soap stars looked sharp and sophisticated as they beamed at the camera.

James wrote a long sleeve dark grey polo shirt with a pair of blue jeans.

Davood wore a black turtle neck with a grey blazer and black slim fit jeans.

The caption read: "We’re at it again! Filmed our 2nd episode on BBC Pointless Celebrities. Last time we were the last couple standing but didn’t get that all important pointless answer!

He continued: "See how we got on this time
You will have to wait a bit as we only filmed it today

The actor concluded: "Here’s a game for you in the meantime… put an ‘e’ behind my head and an ‘i’ behind Davood’s and what have you got???

This comes after Groundforce legend Tommy Walsh appeared on the New Year's celebrity special of Pointless.

The famous gardener left viewers shocked after her revealed his dramatic weight loss.

Tim Key, Alex Horne, Eboni Usoro-Brown, Sharron Davies, Rhea Bailey, Diarmuid Gavin and Natalie Jamieson also appeared on the show.

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One.
