SEX Pistols legend John Lydon was supported by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield today after he broke down in tears on This Morning.
The singer, 67, joined the daytime programme from Dublin to discuss his Eurovision bid with a song written for his wife Nora.
German heiress Nora, 80, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's four years ago and her husband is her primary carer.
As the presenters introduced the punk rocker as "John" and with a montage of his career highlights focusing on his days in the Sex Pistols, he snapped: "Johnny!" and then blasted them over their introduction.
Appearing frustrated, he said: "Let me say, your introduction was a bit lousy. I've done more than just the Sex pistols."
Host Phil, 60, looked concerned and replied: "We couldn't fit it all in, so we thought it better to come to you."

Johnny had a second pop at them and said: "Well it would have been better if you’d started at the top and ended at the bottom."
Trying to ease the tension, Phil said with a smile: "Do your intro. How would you like to be introduced?"
Johnny paused before he finally laughed and said: "Oh, superstar."
He added: "You know you’re dead right. I have never accepted titles anyway, so what the hell."

Later, the star began to cry after a tough discussion about his suffering wife and the song he had written for her, called Hawaii.
He continued: "Here is a song I’ve wrote about my lovely missus, who is suffering Alzheimer's, and I’m having to watch the slow dilapidation of her brain.
"It’s a song not just about Nora and me, it’s a subject that is really important and it’s so pervasive and so at the moment incurable.
"And I’m struggling to keep a relationship with Nora. Hopefully the song kind of helps.
"It’s a love song and it’s got huge tragedy and poignancy and that the importance of love does conquer all."
Phil remarked the disease was "hideously cruel" and said: "It's heartbreaking that you've had to write it in these circumstances. Our love to Nora."
The punk icon's current band – Public Image Ltd (PiL) – is in the running to represent the Republic of Ireland at Eurovision, and John is hoping to use the platform to raise awareness of the condition.
On February 3, the rival songs will battle it out on The Late Late Show on state broadcaster RTE.
