AS Silent Witness returnted for its twenty-sixth series last night, fans were taken aback by one character's transformation.
The long-running BBC drama series made its anticipated return last night as part of a two-part premiere episode.
However fans were left distracted by the look of Jack Hodgson, played by actor Daniel Caves.
Viewers of the show remarked how his physique appeared to have undergone a 'beefed up' transformation and fans were left swooning over the character.
Taking to Twitter, one fan pointed out the dramatic change as they wrote: "Jack has been bulking up for #SilentWitness."
Another added: "Jack's got beefed up and has the stand ability Moody Blues."

A third fan pined for the character as they said: "Jack Hodgson be still my beating heart."
As a fourth added: "Jack in this long coat is something else holy s***."
Jack appeared to stel the show from the get go as he flexed his tones arms in the opening minuets of the programme.
The drama kicked off when it appeared that a man had fell to his death from the top of a high-rise building and Jack was retracing his final steps through the victim's office.

With co-star Emilia Fox's character Nikki examining the situation on the roof, adorned in a tight fitting top Jack tried to surmise what could have been the reasoning behind the man's death.
Silent Witness continues tonight on BBC One.
