Sinitta, Vicky Pattison and Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall lead Pride celebrations in London as Nick Grimshaw announces 'it's coming homo'

Singer Sinitta, 54, took to the stage in Trafalgar Square in a particularly eye catching outfit during the annual parade.

Vicky Pattison shared a shot of herself wearing a plunging rainbow print swimsuit.

The 30-year-old wrote alongside it: “Love is love. Enjoy #pride everyone.”

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall posted a photo of herself in a rainbow-striped top on Instagram and told fans: "To all of our LGBTQ+ fans…we LOVE you for who you are and are born to be.

"Pride is a time to come together, to celebrate and spread love and acceptance without exception whilst learning and knowing the history of why Pride exists in the first place.

"As an ALLY I promise to never stop supporting your rights, using my platform to raise awareness and challenge any form of homophobia/biphobia/transphobia.

"Also I'd like to thank @stonewalluk for welcoming me into their family and educating me on all things and teaching me what it takes to be a true Ally. HAPPY PRIDE EVERYONE."

Kylie Minogue joined in the celebrations writing "Happy #Pride London!!" on Twitter, with heart and rainbow emojis.

Comedian Russell Brand said: "Happy #PRIDE – Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, trans-folk and Queers – "It's coming OUT!”

He wasn’t the only one to make a football reference in his post, as Nicholas Grimshaw cheekily declared:

“OMG if England win AND it’s Pride….It’s Coming Homo!”

Alexandra Burke also took to the stage, as did Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
