Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) will be the first person to discover Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) has an eating disorder in Coronation Street.
Summer has been consumed with stress in recent weeks, struggling to manage studying and keeping an eye on her insulin levels.
Coming up, Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) realises Summer has been up all-night revising.
He points out that if Summer burns herself out, she’ll send her sugar levels all over the place.
The next day, Amy calls for Summer and manages to persuade her to take a break and come for a quick coffee.
When Roy (David Neilson) gives them bacon sarnies, the girls take them back to the flat to eat.
Amy leaves but as she returns to grab her phone, she hears Summer making herself sick in the bathroom.
Summer denies everything, but Amy’s not convinced and threatens to speak to Billy.
Summer promises it won’t happen again, but will Amy still tell Billy?
