Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) was less than pleased in EastEnders to learn that son Peter (Dayle Hudson) was seeing Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) and therefore he went to extreme lengths to get rid of her.
Ian walked in on Dotty kissing Peter last week, and during tonight’s episode, he confronted his son on the matter.
Viewers know that he’s desperate to keep Dotty away from the family given that she knows what about what happened during the boat party, and therefore he attempted to convince Peter to dump her.
In an effort to do just that, Ian told Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) about the kiss, and the young man was devastated.
Afterwards, he worked on Peter’s conscience some more, suggesting that he needs to be there for his brother — and that no girl can come between them.
The restaurateur successfully managed to manipulate the situation to his advantage, as Peter subsequently dumped Dotty.
However, he wasn’t satisfied with just that, and — having learned from Max (Jake Wood) that Dotty has been selling NOS to customers at Ruby’s (Louisa Lytton) club, he phoned the police.
As a result, Dotty was arrested — and Ian was present to witness the whole thing unfold, all the while maintaining a massive grin on his face.
Will Dotty go to jail?
Or will she be released and seek revenge on Ian?
