Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) has struggled with the prospect of saying goodbye to baby Kayden in EastEnders, and during tonight’s episode, she made a huge decision, as she returned home and informed Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) that she’s keeping her son.
Upon her return, Sharon discovered that Dennis (Bleu Landau) had purchased a gift for his little sibling — something which made her question whether she made the right choice in giving Kayden up.
The following day, she paid a visit to Karen’s (Lorraine Stanley) to drop off a few baby things, and the launderette manager asked her to watch over the child. Sharon was unsure, but with the little boy crying, she didn’t really have a choice.
Before long, Kayden’s tears ceased, and she found herself bonding with her baby.
However, she realised that Phil would be wondering where she was, and therefore hightailed it out of there.
During tonight’s episode, Karen prepared to depart Walford with Kayden in tow, but she told Sharon she had a couple of hours left if she wanted to bid adieu to her son.
However, Phil sent Karen away, and — later — Sharon told Will he could have Dennis’ belongings, which left Billy (Perry Fenwick) a little uneasy.
Therefore, he shared a difficult reality with Sharon, and thus she decided to head over to say farewell to Kayden.
However, she soon returned home with a change of heart, and informed Phil that she’s told Karen to stay, as she’s decided to keep her son.
It was evident that Phil was’t pleased, but how will Phil react?
Will he be able to accept Kayden as his own?
Or will this really spell the end of his relationship with Sharon?
