This week on the BBC’s popular ballroom series, 11 celebrities and their professional couples took to the stage for another very special episode. This year, the channel is celebrating 100 years on screens, and Saturday night’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing provided plenty of surprises to mark the occasion.

Strictly Come Dancing celebrated the BBC’s Centenary this week, with the remaining 11 couples taking to the stage to pay tribute to 100 years of the British broadcaster.

However, viewers weren’t impressed when panellist Shirley Ballas referred to Dianne Buswell as ‘Diana’ following her performance with Tyler West.

@blhtrixya fumed: “Shirley still calling Dianne Dianna after six years of being on the show is so disrespectful.”

And @soph_louise95 tweeted: “Shirley called Dianne ‘Dianna’, they’ve only been on the same show for six years.”
