Talking about teaming up with Welsh dance professional Amy Dowden, George proudly said: “Dancing on Strictly has been like a dream. I can do things, I just need a bit of support sometimes.”
He went on: “I’ve always loved the show, I watch it every year and I remember when me and my sister were dancing around the living room, downstairs whilst watching it on TV. And from then I’ve always loved the show.
“So when the call came in I said ‘Yes, yes!’, Straight away. It blew my mind actually being here!”
Amy, 32, said: “I personally think from a professional point of view and from a dancing point of view that George has a good shot of getting there and raising the trophy.”
