STRICTLY Come Dancing fans broke down in tears as the show returned for its 20th series tonight.
The first instalment of the BBC One competition aired tonight – and viewers were absolutely over the moon that it's back on our screens.
This evening's episode started with an incredible dance routine performed by the Strictly Come Dancing pros.
Nancy Xu and Giovanni Pernice, Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington, Dianne Buswell and Johannes Radebeshowed off their best moves in a selection of different locations before appearing on stage in the studio.
Nina Simone's tune Feeling Good played in the background.

They were later joined by the rest of the professionals Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal.

Viewers were left feeling very emotional about the return of the much-loved show Strictly Come Dancing.
One confessed on Twitter: "#Strictly crying already.."
Another said: "time to cry at #strictly let’s go."
"This song makes me cry without fail whenever I listen to it, they did not," a third added.

They went on to introduce the new professional dancers.
Strictly has welcomed Vito Coppola, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Michelle Tsiakkas.
Meanwhile other viewers all spotted the same thing about Tess Daly's launch show outfit.
The blonde presenter, 53, stepped out on the stage to meet co-host Claudia Winkleman wearing one of her trademark off the shoulder numbers, but fans all felt it looked a little unusual.
In fact, many viewers of the BBC hit felt she looked she was wearing a top made from a typical material found it kitchen cupboards across the country.
"What in the tinfoil is Tess wearing?" one asked on twitter.
