Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming after the judges reminded Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell of their 15 year age gap.

The EastEnders star, 20, and professional dancer, 34, are yet to reach the top of the scoreboard despite impressing judges and viewers at home with their undeniable compatibility. On Saturday 4 October the duo performed the Argentine tango and after what appeared to be a passionate dance, Bobby and Dianne were hit with criticism from the judges.

Anton Du Beke said he was taken aback by "how rehearsed" their dance was and said it should be "a little bit sort of messy". Although he went on to add it was "absolutely clean as a whistle" and a "great performance".

Craig Revel Horwood who is known for his tough critics of all the dancers abruptly said: "I thought it was too aggressive and there wasn't enough air or breathing in it.

"And I didn't feel that you were leading, you were placing everything"

He concluded: "It was just simply choreographed rather than being danced together."

In the hope of receiving some positive feedback host Tess Daly asked Motsi Mabuse what she thought of their dance. "I felt from the very beginning you knew what you wanted to do, the intention was there", the judge said.

"You were very strong, for me stronger than usual than your usual position."

She added: "This was a much better performance all in all."

Shirley Ballas was the last to comment and started with: "I thought you had attitude and great striking action when it came to the feet".

She finished by stating: "It was much better than last week and you're good under pressure."

Viewers took to X, formally known as Twitter to express their opinions on the judge's comments. One wrote: "There is a 15 year age difference between Bobby and Dianne, can ANTON relax?? #strictly".

A second said: "Well this isn’t confusing for him at all. One says not enough the other says too much? #Strictly." While a third noted: "How can it both be too clean and too aggressive?!? I think the choreo wasn't good for Bobbers. #Strictly #SCD."

"Bobby on Strictly..really good..the judges are talking crap!" another viewer said backing up the soap star.
