One of Strictly Come Dancing’s professional dancers, Karen Hauer, has shared some sweet snaps with her mum, Mirian, after she took to the dance floor in last night’s show.
Donning a suit, the 41 year old can be seen posing with her arm around her mum, who was also similarly dressed to impress in a suit, which was accessorised with a black bag, as the pair smile for the camera.
She captioned the picture: “Had a very special guest last night – My mom & friends”
Fans couldn’t believe how much the two women looked alike. One person wrote: “Awww Tu mamá – ou look so much like her.”
Another said: “My goodness! You are her double! Beautiful women."
A third agreed: “Gosh you look so much like your mom."
The Strictly pro also shared pictures of her mum with other Strictly stars including her celebrity dance partner Eddie Kadi, who danced with her to Will Smith’s Men in Black for Movie Week.
Karen recently opened up about her divorce from fellow dancerKevin Clifton, who is now in a relationship with TV presenter Stacey Dooley.
She said that she struggled to get out of bed and that it was only her rescue dog Betty who managed to do so, saying that the dog “saved my life.”
Talking to The Sun, she said: "I went through a really tough divorce, and it was the most difficult thing I’ve faced on my own — and, I guess, in a spotlight. It’s almost like you want to hide and go into your own little cocoon."
"Betty saved my life, pretty much. Having that unconditional love and having her there to help me actually get up out of bed.”
She continued: "My dog doesn’t judge me. She just looked at me and sat with me and she would pee if she needed to, which then told me that she needed to go outside. 'Take me outside then I won’t pee in the house! Take me out. Get some fresh air.'"
"I didn’t want to be around people, I just wanted to be around my dog and it helped me release a lot. There were times when I just walked with her and I didn’t have to think about anything else and didn’t have to feel like I needed to do anything else other than be with her."
