Annabel Croft on cooking for Strictly’s Johannes Radebe
Strictly Come Dancing’s Annabel Croft has revealed she’s dedicating her upcoming routine to her late husband Mel Coleman.
Mel died earlier this year at the age of 60 following a short battle with cancer.
Annabel, who was married to her husband for 37 years, announced his death in May and expressed how heartbroken she and her family were.
This Saturday on the BBC show, the former tennis champ will be dedicating her routine to Mel with her couple’s choice dance with Johannes Radebe.
Appearing on Tuesday’s instalment of Strictly’s spin-off show It Takes Two, viewers learnt she’ll be dancing to the song Wings by Birdy.

Presenter Fluer East asked: “It’s going to be an emotional week no doubt, how are you going to balance that with fun in the training room?”
Annabel replied: “Well, we’ve only just started, but when Johannes sent me the music I literally sobbed.
“The words and the lyrics just mean so much obviously. It has been a horrific year, I can’t even put into words.
“Poor Johannes has had to cope with quite a few tears backstage and in rehearsal rooms and everything. It can come at any time, grief is something you can’t explain to anyone.”

“I just hope that Mel is watching from somewhere and hopefully will be proud.”
