Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has opened up about his first routine with Nikita Kuzmin, saying that the performance was giving "potential lovers".
The Bad Education actor wowed viewers at home and the judges as he performed the Samba to Little Mix's hit Touch with his professional dance partner on Saturday (September 23) night. They found themselves joint second on the leaderboard with only Nigel Harman scoring more points.
Layton and Nikita appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Tuesday (September 26) to discuss their pairing and experience working together on the BBC show so far.

Layton explained: "I think the best thing about it is that we get to sort of play. Last week we were giving…." he then turned to Nikita and said: "What were we giving?" Nikita answered: "It was very sexy," before Layton jumped in and quoted "touch of your love" from the song Touch, before saying: "You know, potential lovers… teasing."
Pro dancer Nikita then jumped in and said: "Potential lovers? Oh, I didn't know about that." As Lorraine burst into laughter, an animated Layton said: "No, don't be silly." They went on to give a hint as to their upcoming second dance routine as they said they will be "bro"' for that one. Nikita said: "We're switching it up, it's going to be 1920s in New York."
When quizzed by host Lorraine Kelly about what dance they would be doing on Saturday, they revealed that it's the Quickstep. Later in the segment, Layton looked up at the pair's professional Strictly photo which was enlarged on the screen behind him. He made a joked about Nikita's good looks before his partner called him a "beautiful man". Fans of Strictly are loving Nikita and Layton as a dance pairing.
On Tuesday, Layton posted a video of them making their way to Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two. In the caption, he wrote: "It Takes Two babbbyyyy. Catch our ep on @bbciplayer talking all things @bbcstrictly – Week 2 dance revealed." One fan gushed: "You two have the best chemistry and clearly have such a laugh together.
"Definitely my favourite partnership this year. Good luck with your quickstep training this week. (and please post lots of training room content for us when you get the time lol)."

Nikita is reportedly dating Charlie Backshall, a TikTok star who hails from Perth in Australia. The 21-year-old media personality is the host of sex podcast, The Hotline, in which she talks about life in her 20s alongside Sizzle Reel boys, Blake, Jack and George. Meanwhile, Layton has teased a potential relationship on social media but has kept his mystery man underwraps so far.
