STRICTLY viewers left distracted by the "tense" interview with Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice on tonight's It Takes Two.
Radio star Richie, 34, was left in floods of tears as he opened up about his shock exit with host Rylan
Richie and Italian dancer Giovanni were given the boot on Saturday after landing in the bottom two with popstar Fleur East and pro dancer Vito Coppola.
The duo joined host Rylan to discuss their shock elimination on the BBC2 show.
Opening up about his exit, Richie said: "We've worked hard because before Strictly the only place I danced was in a nightclub and I feel I was brining that same vibe to Strictly, so we worked on making me a bit more gracious and a bit more Latin and Ballroom.
"But I totally accept the result on Saturday night, and it is how it is. I am so lucky that I got to do Strictly, and I met some amazing people."

Looking teary-eyed, Richie struggled to get his words out and with his voice cracking said: "I'm just so proud that I've met…I'm just so crowd."
Rylan then asked what Giovanni if he was proud of Richie's journey on the show.
Giovanni said: "I am indeed, you should see the effort that he puts in the room every day, he really wants to get it right.
"As I said before I'm glad you got to do this experience and maybe come back for a Christmas special at some point and dance again."
However, fans couldn't help but point out Giovanni and Richie's "tense" appearance on the show.
One wrote: "Giovanni doesn't look too bothered, not sure if it's just me but I got the sense he wasn't keen on being with Richie. #ItTakesTwo"
Another posted: "Cuts atmosphere with a knife … #ItTakesTwo"
A third said: "The tension is off the scale. Awkward between Richie and Gio. #ItTakesTwo"
"This is absolutely the most awkward #ItTakesTwo interview ever," another added.
Show judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke all saved Fleur, meaning Shirley Ballas's vote wasn't needed.
However, she did tell hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly that she would have saved Richie.
But there was disparity in the marking with Craig scoring it a mediocre five, while Shirley went for an eyebrow raising eight and Motsi and Anton both scored it a seven.
Viewers seemed to side more with Craig in their assessments.
One viewers said: "I’m gonna be looking at Shirley’s scores all night after she gave Richie 8 Based on that she’s surely whipping out a 10 tonight #Strictly."
Another wrote: "Richie and Giovanni…..5 all day long…..bloody 8??!!! #Strictly."
A third said: "Richie overmarked as usual."
During his critique, Craig said: "Your arms were very plankish, I thought, going through the promenade runs, but I do have to say, I did absolutely love the characterisation."

Despite their smiles on the dance floor, Giovanni and Richie's time on the show was marred by speculation they didn't get on too well behind the scenes.
