Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) was left absolutely furious in recent EastEnders scenes when former Minute Mart owner and head office honcho Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) interfered with her business practices.
When Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) ran to Yolande over the price of Suki’s bread, the current owner pointed out that, seeing as Yolande was retired, she had no say in the prices she chose to charge.
She responded to Patrick’s (Rudolph Walker) claims that she was choosing profits over people by explaining that she was just trying to keep the business afloat, having spent a lot of money on expanding the range of stock and refurbishing the interior.
Yolande, however, wasn’t impressed, as she pointed out that said refurb didn’t adhere to the company’s branding guidelines.
When Suki snapped that she didn’t care what Yolande had to say, Kim was amazed by her rudeness, and refused to shop at the Minute Mart.

She lost a further two customers as Patrick and Yolande dumped their shopping and left, thought this wasn’t where Suki’s troubles would end.
As Patrick and Yolande later enjoyed an afternoon in the Queen Vic, Patrick pointed out what a nice first day they’d had together, other than Suki’s input that morning.
It was then that Yolande smugly revealed that she had more say in the company than Suki would care to believe.
Back in the Minute Mart, it became clear just what Yolande meant, as Suki received a call from the Minute Mart head office.
They revealed that they had had a report that Suki’s refurb did not adhere to company policy, and demanded that she change everything back to how it was before.
Infuriated, Suki insisted that their policy was outdated and it would cost her a fortune to make the changes they wanted, before hanging up the phone.
Could this be the start of a new rivalry between Yolande and Suki? Who will come out on top?
