The Summer I Turned Pretty season two features a number of the new versions of Taylor Swift’s classics and episode six is no different.
The Shake It Off star’s tunes have been played throughout the Amazon Prime Video series since it first launched last year.
Season two has seen more of her hits weaved into the romantic drama with the second outing already including Taylor’s Version of Last Kiss and This Love.
The Summer I Turned Pretty returned on Friday, August 4, for episode six, with fans expecting another of Taylor’s Version of a song from either the Speak Now, Fearless or Red albums.
But much to their surprise, it was actually Delicate (Taylor’s Version) from Reputation which made its debut.

When does Delicate (Taylor’s Version) feature in The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2?
The new version of Delicate makes its debut in The Summer I Turned Pretty season two’s Love Fest.
A snippet of the song is heard just under 12 minutes into the episode when Belly Conklin (played by Lola Tung) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno) are splashing around and flirting in the pool.
This is before they take a quiet moment to realise what they were about to lose, leaving them both feeling sentimental.
While the moment did touch Prime Video subscribers, many were distracted by the presence of Swift’s Delicate in the background.

An excited fan tweeted in caps: “Delicate (Taylor’s Version) is in The Summer I Turned Pretty”, followed by two crying emojis.
Another wrote: “Shut up no way Delicate (Taylor’s Version) is in the new episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty y’all…I’m clowning bye.”
While a third commented: “I am losing it???!! I can’t believe Taylor keeps outdoing her best songs with Taylor’s Version holy s**t.”
“Delicate TV, I need it on Spotify today.”
Swift started re-recording her older songs as her contract with Big Machine gave her the rights to do so from November 2020.
It had been rumoured Reputation may be the next album that she would re-release but there were doubts given it wasn’t that long since she re-recorded tracks from the Speak Now album.
