The Chase viewers were left baffled after one "hot" contestant left the cash builder round with only £1,000 but managed to secure a spot in the final after beating Chaser Jenny Ryan.

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new hopefuls into the studio as they prepared to try their hands at winning a top cash prize.

Becky stepped up to the podium, wearing a floor length yellow dress, and introduced herself.

She told Bradley that she is a graphic designer and is hoping to spend her winnings on completing the extension on her house.

The pair promptly began the cash builder round, but Becky was clearly having a hard time as she ended with just one correct answer, equating to £1,000.

Despite her cheerful attitude, fans couldn't believe the poor performance and took to Twitter to discuss her attempt.

One viewer wrote: "At least she's having a good time."

Another said: "Becky gets points from me for being jolly, bless her."

A cruel critic also added: "Dear god, how did she manage to get on this show? It really amazes me."

Some noted Becky's attractiveness and tweeted out that she was "hot," while others were simply gobsmacked at her false answers.

Bradley asked her to answer what sea creature comes after mock, to which she replied "chameleon" and left him laughing.

After the round was complete, Bradley quizzed her on her answer and told her that the correct answer was "turtle".

She eventually pieced together the misunderstanding and realised that she thought he had meant a creature beginning with "c," not a "sea" creature.

After a disappointing start, Becky then apologised to the rest of her team mates that laughed and shook their heads at her.

Next, Becky had to face Chaser Jenny Ryan in a tense head to head battle.

Jenny gave her a minus offer, to stick with her current £1,000, or gamble with £50,000.

After quick deliberation with her team, Becky decided to remain on her prize money and the round began.

Much to Bradley, her team mates and viewer's amazement, Becky sailed through and managed to beat the Chaser to return to seat.
