The Chase fans claimed Mark Labbett was awarded a point after giving an 'incorrect' answer as they argued tonight's team should have won.
During the tense final chase, host Bradley Walsh had asked: "Video On Demand is usually shortened to what three letters?"
Mark answered with the word "VOD", but viewers argued that the question was asking him to state the letters and not a word.
One viewer tweeted: "Hang on… On The Chase, the Question was "Video On Demand is usually shortened to what LETTERS?" Beasty Boy Mark Labbett said the WORD "vod" and was given the answer as correct!!! No no no. Letters were asked for!!!"
While another wrote: "Any else notice he said the word VOD rather than saying the letters V O D. When asked which 3 letters are used…"
"What three letters and he answers 'VOD' that’s incorrect", penned a third.
A fourth typed: "He got a question wrong but wasn’t pulled up on it, they would have won."
