The Chase fans were distracted from the latest edition of the ITV quiz show.
Viewers watching Friday's (September 29) episode at home were forced to do a double take as they thought The Beast was trying his luck on the programme as a contestant.
Mark Labbett, otherwise known as The Beast, is one of the Chasers who tries to stop the team of players going home with thousands of pounds. Host Bradley Walsh welcome a new group to the studio and viewers at home couldn't help but point out a similiarty between hopeful Angus and The Beast.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "I'd like to see Angus and the Beast in the same room. Maybe doing a DNA test." A second person wrote: "Angus looks a bit like The Beast." While a third agreed: "The Beast got himself a Mini Me."
"Beast doppelgänger in seat 2 #thechase," a fourth social media user typed, while a fifth X user posted: "Angus a young Beast." Someone else wrote: "Whys this guy dressed like the Beast."
Angus donned a black tie with a blue tie and white shirt for his television appearance, similar attire to what The Beast wears when he stars on the show.
He also styled his black hair like Mark and he also towered over Bradley when he stood next to him while playing the head-to-head round against Anne Hegerty, otherwise known as The Goberness.
Angus managed to make it through to the Final Chase and put £8,000 into the team's prize fund but they went home with nothing after the Governess caught them. It comes after fans said The hase was becoming "pointless" and begged ITV bosses to "save show".

Following a recent episode, one viewer moaned: "The Chase needs a shake up or viewers are not going to watch. No one wants to watch one useless player in the final. So, either better contestants or easier questions needed to save this show. Another declared: "THIS PROGRAMME IS BECOMING POINTLESS #TheChase."
A third pondered: "#TheChase Running out of money? I've never seen such a strange set of questions for 3 on the trot…. too many are those ridiculous 'they'll have to guess' type. You've a chance, but not much of one. If the last set are like that, they don't want any of that winning nonsense. A fourth simply wrote: "It's hard to watch."
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 5pm
