This Morning taken off air in ITV shake-up as Rishi Sunak is named PM

In an ITV schedule shake-up, This Morning will not air today, Tuesday 25 October.

The well-loved daytime TV show, usually presented by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, is being replaced by a 2.5 hour-long ITV News special as Rishi Sunak is named Prime Minister.

The schedule will then resume as usual with Loose Women airing at 12:30pm.

Confirming the news, TV critic and broadcaster Scott Bryan tweeted: "#ThisMorning won't be on today and has been replaced with an ITV News Special from Number 10. BBC One is doing a BBC News Special from 10am today."
