Matt “Coco” Hancock has been clowning around for long enough – it’s time he was made to pay.

Your Daily Star is today calling on the nation to vote for him to do every trial on I’m A Celebrity.

We reckon seeing oddball Coco, 44, being put through hell on TV every night will be the boost we all need.

Viewers are already plotting to make it happen by posting on social media.

They want to “get revenge” over the hell he put the country through when he bungled his handling of the pandemic.

One viewer said: “Hancock must be kept in the jungle as long as possible and he must do every single trial. Tactical voting please everyone. Let’s make his time in the jungle long and unpleasant.”

Another added: “Right we’re obviously making Matt Hancock do absolutely every single trial aren’t we? We can just agree on that as a nation?”

And one said: “Vote for Matt!! Absolute weapon of a man!”

Insiders fear Coco will be able to duck out of some trials on medical ground.

While filming Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, he developed trench foot, which could mean he is unable to do challenges involving water.

Coco is already tipped to face the most trials in I’m A Celebrity history.

Bookies say it’s 2-1 he’ll break a record during his stint in camp.

Coral spokesman John Hill said: “Hancock is going to be kept busy in the jungle, and if our odds are correct, he could be set to make history by doing the most trials in the history of the show!”

Coco is also favourite to be booted out first – even before Strictly loverat Seann Walsh, 36.

And he has dismal odds of 16-1 of being crowned King of the Jungle.

The backlash over Coco signing up for the show continued to grow.

Tory MP Chris Loder said: “To be honest, I think Matt has gone mad. You can’t be an MP on the other side of the world for two months. I struggle to get a day off, never mind a month off.”

Actress Denise Welch has offered to appear on the new series for free to have a showdown with Coco over his time as Health Secretary.

Letting rip on Loose Women, she added: “He’s going to go in there and pretend he’s Mr Nice Guy.”

But Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch backed him and said: “We should let Matt be Matt.”
