Tipping Point viewers have been left fuming over a return to a different format and have threatened to switch off.

Ben Shephard' s popular quizzing programme returned to screens tonight’s with three contestants instead of the usual four, leaving many viewers sick of the constant change in format on the ITV show.

One of the major disparities with the new series is that there are now only three contestants playing instead of four and no elimination after the first round.

The quick-fire question round has also been tweaked with contestants given 45 seconds to answer their questions instead of the usual 30 seconds.

“Oh man, new series and it’s shi**y 3 player start, I don’t like it #tippingpoint.” Blasted one viewer.

one annoyed spectator said: "Had enough of the constant changes. Bye tippers."

A third said: "Hate the new format!! 3 contestants at the start then ALL go through to the next round, just c**p! Way too much talking between contestants!! That’s us done!! Will have to find something else to watch, should be easy though!!"
