BEN Shephard took a brutal swipe at a contestant on Tipping Point as he branded her performance a "nightmare" after a huge question blunder.
The ITV game show tests the knowledge and skill of players, however, one participant on Thursday afternoon's episode drew the criticism of fans.
As player Shanara took on fellow players Robbie, Cherly and Nigel in the latest episode, Ben fired off a series of questions.
But the engineering student soon left viewers in stitches after she made an epic question blunder despite receiving a huge clue in the question.
She was asked: “Which famous TV chef became a dad for the fifth time when his wife gave birth to their son Oscar Ramsay?”
Shanara buzzed in first but immediately blanked, desperately trying to think of the chef’s name.

Ben informed her that it was Gordon Ramsay and that the name Ramsay was in the question.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to comment, with the majority all left saying the same thing.
Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: "Ben said Ramsay in the question. That should have given her a clue…"
Echoing their comments, someone else said: "She couldn't remember the name? Embarrassing stuff!"
While a third remarked: "Shanara must be kicking herself watching this episode back. What a doughnut!"
But another question blunder soon followed when she was asked what number of steps are recommended to be walked daily.
