MATTHEW Wolfenden has hit back at a troll who called him 'old and fat' following his split from Charley Webb.
The Emmerdale star, 43, took to social media to call out the nasty follower for their cruel message.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV soap, posted a topless snap on Instagram.
As he showed off his impressive toned body, he said: "To the person who commented (you shall remain nameless) about me looking old and fat now…
"I personally don't think I'm doing too bad for 43!"
He finished his post with hashtags that said 'stand up to bullying' and 'weight shaming is not ok'.

Matthew and Charley Webb, who also stars in Emmerdale, announced they had split after five years of marriage.
The soap sweethearts tied the knot in 2018 and have three children together – Buster, 13, Bowie, eight, and Ace, four.
They released a joint statement on their Instagram accounts tonight in which they insisted they will remain friends.
Charley's version read: "It is with love and respect that Matthew and I have decided to separate. We remain friends and our priority is the love for our children. For their sake we would appreciate privacy at this time."

Earlier this month, Matthew hinted that their marriage was in trouble after he unfollowed his wife on Instagram.
He had not commented on any of her recent pictures or posted about her in over year.
Matthew recently quit Emmerdale after 18 years of playing David Metcalfe and has got stuck into rehearsing for his new role in Elf straightaway.
