Unlikely Love Island couple risks shock dumping as vote results are revealed

The final week of Love Island is upon us, and it will undoubtedly bring with it a raft of brutal dumpings.

Last night was no exception with viewers voting off their least favourite couple – although the results were not as expected.

Despite having mugged Alexandra off to crack on with new Laura – only for Laura to choose new Jack – Alex and Alexandra were still in the top five along with Laura and Paul, Dani and Jack, Megan and Wez and new Jack and new Laura.

Which surprisingly left favourites Josh Denzel and Kaz Crossley battling it out with newbies Stephanie Lam, 23 and Josh Mair, 21 to see who would make it into the last week.

Sadly it was all over for Steph and Josh, who had earlier in the day admitted there was zero attraction.

And in his exit interview, Josh said he regretted trying to crack on to Georgia, insisting he should have gone for Alexandra instead.

"I think at the start, I would not have grafted so hard on Georgia," he said.

"I think the first couple of days, I thought it could go somewhere. But then when I thought about it more, it felt like they were still into each other.

"Maybe if I had gone in earlier me and Alexandra could have coupled up.

"We’ll definitely meet up on the outside, and if it didn’t work out with Alex, I’d definitely pursue it."
