Virgin River season four is coming to Netflix on July 20 and it should answer some pressing questions like who shot Jack Sheridan (played by Martin Henderson). The escapist drama will follow Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack as they deal with Mel’s pregnancy among many other challenges. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about what time it will arrive on Netflix?

What time is Virgin River season 4 on Netflix?

The new season of Virgin River will pick up not long after the events of the third outing.

The bumper season, made up of 12 episodes instead of the usual 10, will see Jack attempt to track down his shooter.

Meanwhile, Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson) is dealing with the aftermath of his wife Hope’s (Annette O’Toole) accident.

Elsewhere, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) is preparing to celebrate the upcoming birth of her twins at her baby shower.

There is plenty of drama to look forward to this season, with all 12 episodes arriving on July 20 at 12am Pacific Time.

This is equal to 3am Eastern Time, and 8am for fans living in the UK.

For those midwest of the US, it will be a 2am Central Time launch.

The series has not been on air since July 2021, so its return has been a long time coming.

The new episodes will shine a light on some new characters, including Denny (Kai Bradbury) who made a surprise appearance at the end of season three.

He introduced himself at the bed and breakfast as Doc’s grandson.

The newcomer will have an important role to play in the upcoming episodes.

Mark Ghanimé also joins the cast as a handsome new doctor named Cameron Hayek.

Fans will have to wait and see how his relationship with Mel develops as the season progresses.

Mel actress Breckenridge opened up about what her character would be like as a new mother.

Speaking to Parade.com she said: “I think that Mel is an extremely patient person.

“I think that her patience as far as mothering goes will be phenomenal. I’ve worked on my patience.

“I’ve gotten much more patient as I have been a mother. I think that that’s innate in Mel, it just comes to her, she is that way.

“That’s the difference between us. She’s obviously very nurturing and she’s a caregiver by nature, but I think the patience is what eclipses Mel.

“You see it with her and Jack throughout the season. Even though she gets very frustrated with him she’s always able to come back to being patient.”

Mel and Jack are known for having a turbulent relationship due to Jack’s troubled past.

This is expected to continue in the upcoming season, so more fights could be on the way.

Meanwhile, Brady (Ben Hollingsworth) is in prison after he was wrongly accused of shooting Jack.

Viewers will have to wait and see whether he is able to prove his innocence to Mike (Marco Grazzini).

Elsewhere, residents are still mourning the death of Lilly (Lynda Boyd) after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Virgin River season 4 airs on Netflix on July 20.
