Virgin River: Season 5 Part 1 trailer

The latest season of Netflix’s Virgin River has just dropped on the streaming platform and fans of the romantic drama will be ready to celebrate having Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and the rest of the characters from the idyllic town back on their screens.

But did you know that September 7 has a special meaning for three of its stars, above and beyond season five’s release?

Well, Colin Lawrence, who plays John ‘Preacher’ Middleton, Ben Hollingsworth, who plays bad boy Dan Brady and Marco Grazzini, who plays Mike Valenzuela, all have one thing in common.

They were born on the same date, meaning that all three of the actors celebrate their birthday on the exact same day that Virgin River returns.

And the co-stars have taken to social media to share the sweet milestone with fans of the popular show.

Colin shared a pensive photo of himself to his Instagram along with the following caption: “Me trying to remember what’s so important about this week. Maybe it’s @hollingsworthb ,@themarcograzzini and I all share birthdays on September 7.”

While Ben and Marco both shared the exact same photo with one another. The Brady star shared a carousel of two images of himself and Marco, to which he added: “Couple of dudes just waiting on their bday. Sept 7th @colinlawrence97 where you at?”

Marco quickly reposted that first image to his own Instagram page.

Fans were quick to wish the trio a happy birthday. One viewer posted: “Before I forget due to all the chaos that never ends… Happy birthday, Marco! Virgo season pop off!”

While a second fan of the actors added: “Happy Birthday Guys!”

A third fan remarked: “What a great day to have a birthday on!!”

And someone finally pondered if it could be possible that three stars of the same show could all share a birthday. They asked: “Is this for real? Three birthdays on Sept 7th. Serendipity must be real.” (sic)

While Virgin River has returned, the fifth season has actually been split into two parts. Because of this, the first ten episodes will appear on September 7, while two additional holiday episodes will air on November 30.

Fans will need to tune in to see how the new and no doubt dramatic season pans out.

Seasons one to four of Virgin River and season five part one are available to stream on Netflix now, with season five part two airing on November 30.
