Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is faced with a huge shock in a new Coronation Street spoiler video as he comes face to face with the mother that he believed was dead.

Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) had previously told Tyrone that his mum had died, all the while knowing that Cassie (Claire Sweeney) was actually out there somewhere.

In recent episodes, Cassie re-entered Evelyn’s life, but was quickly rushed into hospital after overdosing.

After some thought, Evelyn agreed to help her daughter get clean, organising a flat for them to stay in away from the street .

However, she insisted that Cassie kept her identity hidden from son Tyrone until she was off the drugs.

In the new spoiler video, it becomes clear that Cassie can’t keep the knowledge to herself any longer, as she blurts out the truth in the Bistro.

Stunned Tyrone refuses to believe it at first, but ends up running out of the door as Evelyn refuses to deny it.

She is completely furious at the way Cassie had told him and the pair embark on a huge row, with Cassie attempting to run after him.

It is then that Roy Cropper (David Neilson) arrives, expressing his concern for Tyrone as he is greeted by an agitated Cassie.

With Cassie’s bombshell hanging in the air, how will the family move forward from this?

Will Tyrone accept his mother, or will he refuse to let her into his life?
